Hi Folks!

Been reading here for a while and had my registration refused two times... Anyway now I am here and want to post my flat black 2004 Speedmaster with moderate mods for you.

Mods:
- Z-handlebars
- front fender removed
- rear fender modified
- tail light and idicators exchanged
- TOR Pipes
- tail lowering with HAGON shocks (11")
- speedo removed, small electronic one installed on
dashboard
- carb and air intake mods
- seat conversion to a flat single one
- optional pillion seat or luggage rack (quick release)

Here's one picture of the current state and look.

Some more mods are planned, but I don't think that I got the time and money to carry them our soon....

All the best!

Christian

PS: Very nice forum full of info and ideas here! Keep on like this!!! Cheers!

It might look easy when you look at me, but it took years of effort to become the mess that you see...

Nope! Maybe you try to post from your computer? That will not work. You have to put it somewhere on the web - Photobucket or similar - to get an URL to the pic. That's how this system works.

Oh, now I see it. Only a thumbnail, but:

BEAUTIFUL BIKE!

Many thanks for all the comments!
Auch für die Deutschen!

I know and use the site thruxtonforum.de for a couple of time now....

Anyway: the used speedo has been bought by a german manufacturer "MMB Messtechnik". Its tiny, looks great, comes with a hall sensor (optional) and works really fine for months now.
I had to lathe an adaptor ring (alloy, polished) to fit in to the dashboard (where the original rev gauge was mounted).

And it was cheap: 115,- € (which has to be calculated in US$ by yourself!! ).

One pic of the speedo (not finally wired).

Well... AFTER Rain, you still have the feeling of rain.
Gravelroads are awesome peeling for the face and I still don't know what the TÜV sais about this.

I don't care anyway

That was done by the pre owner... The original speedo housing was done like this also (interested in buying? )
