So, I complete my move to Utah and as soon as my household goods, car and motorcycle are delivered to my new place my employer sends me across the US (by air, not bike) to assist with various start-up operations. I finally get back to Salt Lake and it is getting c-c-cold!

I moved to Utah in 1979, it subsequently took me 10 years to obtain a work visa to move to Montana . I once passed through a back country mobile border patrol checque station in Gila national forest circa 1984. The agent on the drivers side asked if I was a US citizen? I replied "No, I'm from Utah". I loved the 10 years I spent in Utah, wouldn't trade it for anything. Hope the same goes for you

I have a lot of family in Northern Utah, and SLC. They say it's either 110 or 10 below. Get used to the extremes. The Lagoon is great amusement park though.

I'm down in the Four Corners area. Fortunately, I DID get to stay in the US (Colorado).

Yeah, I guess I have to drag out the thermals and Macallen's 25 . . . then dust off my cross country skis.
