One thing I'm fairly certain of, the Graphite Colour was not available on the first year models. However the header pipes appear to be first year models. Lot's of grunge on the chain and sprocket for 7000 miles.
Additionally there appears to be no identification sticker on the right side of the fork neck.

Was not aware of the ID sticker. I'm not clear how this works, Is there an ID plate in the UK on bikes or just the VIN numbers, where is the info for manufacture date? I knew the tins were 2006. As a buyer I would be cautious of this bike, just my opinion.

I had a sticker on the right side of the fork neck but it was blasted off by a pressure washer.
We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

"Pressure washer"?!!! Well, I certainly hope you used that sucker to clean all the grit and grime from the around all the electrical wiring AND that accumulates around the wheel bearings, Larry! (...in other words, a pressure washer is the LAST thing I'd ever use to clean MY bike!)

And Greg...I guess you folks over there on that little island and your "MOT" must have a different method of determining what model year a vehicle is registered as.
'Cause ya see, as far as everything one can find on the Internet, the first model year of the Bonneville America that even Triumph says it made was the 2002 model year.
(...'cause over here in THIS big ol' country, the model year of a vehicle is ALWAYS what the vehicle is registered as with our various states' "Department of Motor Vehicles", aka our "DMV"s)

12 years old, 3 owners, replaced tins, nd only 7000 miles.? Maybe with 1 owner, but 3? I reckon either the speedo has been wound back to match the only service records or it has been written off (smashed) and rebuilt.

So then Ade, let me ask you THIS. Doesn't it get a bit confusing for you folks on that little island over there when at the beginning of each MODEL YEAR the vehicle manufacturers have made changes to a MODEL for each MODEL YEAR, such as say, different colo(u)r paint combinations or EVEN modifications to the basic layout, and thus creating confusing differences WITHIN each REGISTERED YEAR because of this manner you folks on that little island over there register your vehicles? And ESPECIALLY when this comes to the time of resale? (...gotcha THERE, didn't I, dude?!!!)

Yep Bill, I remember like it was yesterday my Dad at the breakfast table showing me the full page ad for the brand new 1964½ Mustang in the L.A. Times...though as I recall, THIS all took place in the Spring of '64, NOT later on in the Fall...like say in SEPTEMBER! (...saaaaay, though now that you've mentioned the original Mustang here Bill, maybe THIS is what Grzegorz should ACTUALLY be callin' his BA???...a "2001 AND A HALF Bonneville America", HUH?!, and even THOUGH it was assembled in SEPTEPTER of that year LIKE MINE was!!!)

No such thing officially. Ford considers all of them 1965 models and they are titled by VIN code as such. Only Mustang collectors and enthusiasts call the early cars 1964-1/2 models. The main reason is Mustangs produced between March 9th and July 31st of 1964 had generators and all cars after that date had modern alternators. Many had been refitted with alternators when they were daily drivers but the dash warning light will display GEN on the early cars and ALT on the later cars. There were other minor trim and engine code differences.

A pressure washer is the best thing to clean a bike if you don't plan to spend your days emulating an obsessive Harley polisher. Takes the bugs and grime right off. Then I dry it with a leaf blower. Works like a charm. Just avoid the electrics and the chain. Been doing it for over nine years and 76,000 miles, no problems yet.

Yeah, I suppose if you're careful with the thing it would okay to use. However, I'm reminded of the time Friar John took his bike to one of those self-serve car wash places, and when he was done his bike wouldn't start 'cause his CDI unit had gotten wet underneath the gas tank. (...and I kidded him about it too)

You're correct, of course. But the term 1964½ has become common usage due to the reasons that you cite, distinguishing it from the major changes of the 1965 models, of which I had one ("K" code, sigh) back in the day.
I worked as a mechanic at a Ford dealer for many years and you had to have a production date for many cars to get the correct parts because Ford (and I'm sure the other manufacturers as well) would often make changes during the production year. The whole "model year" thing is a marketing tool anyway, as well as useful for registration and value purposes.

I've been in the car business (service dept.) a long time...maybe too long. The dealership I'm with does not allow me to disclose it's name on the internet, a company policy because of some other employees Facebook problems making them look bad.
My first 3 cars were Mustangs, a '68 coupe, '71 Mach-1 351 Ram Air and my first new car was an '82 GT 5.0L.
The 1982 5.0L GT was another 1/2 year model of sorts. The re-introduction of the GT model in '82 was originally available with any engine including the standard 4-cylinder. None were ever produced for the U.S market though as all came standard only with the 5.0L V8 and 4-speed manual transmission. Ford printed the original early sales brochures and dealer order guides with optional engines in the GT then sent updated brochures listing the GT with only the V8 4-speed. I still have copies of both versions...and I still have that car.

You are right about this. The thing about luck is it runs out.
There really is no need to use a pressure washer. Just get the bike clean and apply a good polish/wax then it will be easy to keep clean with normal car wash. I like Turtle Wax products myself. Their Ice polish is easy on a bike because it can be used on any surface even clear plastics and flat paint and it does not leave a white residue.
