Well, we (roper and I) bent up a set of low narrow bars for the custom today. They need a little trimming for fit, but really look bad (good) on the bike. Combined with the 3" lower seat we had made, the 2-1/2" lowered rear, and the 2" lowered front, this bike is definately becoming the ultimate "bar hopper/curb side crawler". Pics to follow.

Roper,
It's like your telling a bunch of alcoholics about this great bottle of booze you have, but refusing to give it to them. Give us a taste.

I live vicariously through those that have the ability (and means) to customize! Bring on the pics!

The bars are now at the powder coaters. Will be ready Monday. We'll post pics then.
A little teasing never hurts! For us it's like anticipating Christmas morning. We've got all these parts scattered out to different places waiting for completion. All I'll say is the mock-up looked pretty good to us.

Yeah we are. But you should take it as a compliment!! Personally, I'd love to see "work in progress pictures" as much as finished product, so don't be shy!! Do you have a digital cam? PRobably a wise investment if you are going to be selling stuff, if someone wants a different angle view, snip snap there ya go, know what I mean?

All this negativism reminds me of a old Allman Bro.'s song:
"Tied To The Whippin' Post".
I've got the camera, just nothing new to take pictures of at present. Besides, I've used up most of my allocated picture space already! Must learn to edit, or downsize pic's!

Hey boogie, when you load up the pictures from the camera to the computer, they all have numbers instead of names right? So open them with microsoft photo editor (right click the pic and select "open with") and then hit save as. There's a "more" button you can hit which allows you to scale it down, I usually just do 50%. That's a good time to give the pic a name like "handlebars" or "maybe these guys will leave me alone now".
