Just wanted to put a plug in for an easy horn upgrade. I couldn't stand the stock horn on the 2009 America that I bought a few months ago. Yesterday I installed a new horn that I found here: www.newbonneville.com/html/upgraded_horn.html

Pulled the two electrical connectors off the stock horn, removed the single bolt fastener, then put the new horn in the same spot using the same connections. 5 minutes, $24, and a big improvement.

I went with a Stebel myself but replacing that wimpy stock horn is one of the most important safety improvements you can make. I have a clothes dryer with a louder alarm than that stock horn.

We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

No argument there. I went with the most decibels one can get without going air.

RIVCO electric horns.

Stebel too, but I remote mounted the compressor under the seat. A good horn is imperative! I recently installed new horns on my car too

I put in a Thunderbird horn and it's plenty loud.
I did see someone, recently on Facebook, install a horn on his HD that sounds much like a submarine dive klaxon. He said it fit right in on his HD with no special fittings or relays. I'm awfully tempted to get that, especially after I heard it. LOL
