I am so bummed right now. Took my Triumph 90 miles away to Charlotte, NC for service and repairs. Took them two weeks to finish, which is way too long. Turns out it was finished over a week ago and they forgot to call me. I drove down to give them my money, load up my bike, drive home the 90 miles, no problem. When I get home, the only place I can find to unload my bike is closed this weekend. Not that it matters.............I left my bike key in Charlotte.

I am curious enough to ask. Why can't you unload it where you live? I do understand the other part where you have not had a 2nd key made.
Looks like no riding for a few days til the mail or another trip to the shop.
I try to aggravate one person a day. Today may be your day.

I can't unload at my house because my yard is severely sloped, I don't have any flat spots I can access with my truck. I have never loaded my bike before either, so I don't have a ramp. I know I can find a spot near where I live to unload it safely, but then have no way to get home.
The only reason I took it in for service was I work long hours these days and only have time to do anything on weekends. I was planning on going to Barber next month and wanted to get all the work done I needed.
I'll be getting an extra couple keys for sure.

Your dealer can order a key(s) for your Speedy from Triumph North America, all they need is your VIN#.
No doubt the dealer should have called, but I've always made it a policy to call on days I have available to pick the bike up, I'm usually pleasantly surprised.

SWEET. I was looking for similar keys to take to a locksmith, and my wife says try mine just for the heck of it. She takes her Yamaha key off the key hook in her craft room and lo and behold, there is a spare TRIUMPH key on the frickin' ring. What the hell??? Where did this come from??
Either way, I'm outta here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

60 mile shakedown run was fun. HBC Bluetooth music was good too.

SPARE KEY CODE: SILCA KW14 its a Kawasaki key blank but we were able to cut it at a hardware store. Only thing it wont do is the fork lock which I have never used in 8 yrs. quicker than waiting on TNA. I keep it in my wallet. (almost lost my key in the mountains of Idaho while camping. Not a fun thought.)
