Ok, so I'm a newbie to motorcycles and know nothing about them other than how to ride one and how to put air in the tires. So I was looking under my 07 Speedy tonight (not sure why I decided to look under it!) and saw these hoses on the left side of the photo with one of them looking like it's been leaking something. There's also another hose/tube hanging down behind the bell on the left. Can someone tell me what they are?

One of the black ones is a fluid drain for the air box. I had to drain mine after being stuck in a torrential rain storm and 20 miles of varying depths of flash flood.

If you think that those gremlin bells keep the gremlins off your bike think again. It is really those hoses which are beer bong hoses. The gremlins get tanked then do the yute thing and fall off.

Thanks for your responses. Stay tuned for the next what the heck is this and what does it do question on my bike! And as for the gremlin bells, I'm surprised nobody gave me a hard time about one of them having a HD logo on it but then you probably couldn't see it! It was a gift and I liked the skull outlined in crystals on the other side of it so I figured I could forgive the HD logo especially since it would be under the bike.

HD bells are SAE and Triumph is metric. I'm surprised they even fit. Hmmm.

Hahahaha! What he said. I'm all ways learning something just from cruising these forums. No question is a dumb question. Ok maybe you'll get a little jab here and there for fun.

Geez guys, one is an air box drain the other is a carburetor overflow drain.
Sorry about these chuckle heads.
