Hi all...

Well...I finally did it. Laid the bike down --- in the driveway after washing it. :-/ Just forgot the kickstand and put her down softly. Fortunately the damage was mostly only to the ego --- minor scratches on the mirror and highway pegs that only I will ever see, and it "appears" that the regular foot peg is slightly bent. Hard to tell, but it doesn't come out at exactly 90 degrees anymore.

From what I can tell, shifting wasn't effected. ....but one thing happened that I can (yet) figure out. That little "toe extension" on the kickstand now hits my pipe (long TOR).

I never looked at it close enough before to know what normally stops it? Is it just bent? (I can't imagine how since it seemed up and out of the way when the bike fell over)...or did something else break off or bend where the kickstand is mounted? ...a buddy of mine has a 2013 America -- I'll have to check his but wanted to ask here also...

Thanks.

It pivoted on the mounting bolt or bent a little. Have somebody hold it up. Sit in front of the bike and pull the kickstand hard directly at yourself. It will pivot a little toward you and away from the pipe.

I drug it under my bike in Arizona and Dwight had to pull it back out. Its not a big deal.

If that doesn't work, put a socket over the little nub and bend it down a little bit. A LITTLE BIT! Don't break it off.

I try to aggravate one person a day. Today may be your day.
