I have a Tourmaster Over Pant since 2007..only dislike is I need to take boots off to put them on if already riding...The newer pants have taken care of that with side zippers,etchttp://www.tourmaster.com/product/Textile_Pants/Overpant/274/4

life is good..I am retired..sold my America in 2008,bought a Rocket and sold that in 3/2013 and now own a new Triumph Bonneville T-100

I use a cheap set, couldn't tell you the name. They keep me dry and squeak when I walk. Also, they fold up small enough to live in the tool roll and they've got a couple of pocket holes too

I used to use similar ones with my old bikes, but a bit of water would get in where the pocket holes were, but that doesn't happen with these. Might be to do with the riding position, as the old bikes were all mid sets

I have leather over pants that I wear to get to work, and for the cooler weather. They have a zipper all the way up the sides. I have Triumph rain pants to wear over those when I have too.

Motoport Ultra II Kevlar pants. Had em for a few years now, grea in heat (ridden in 100 degree heat and had great airflow), great in cooler weather (ridden in 45 degrees with shorts underneath) and bee comfortable, been caught in heavy pounding rain for 30/45 min and came out dry (except for the bottom edge of my jeans).

Not cheap by any means though but I highly and strongly recommend.

I wear Olympia Overpants $179.99. They're mesh nice and cool for the summer. The pants also zip off into shorts. http://olympiamotosports.com/catalog/air-essentials/recon-3-mesh-tech-transformer-pant/
I have Frog Toggs for rainy days.

You do know that you still should wear underpants with them, right?
Oh wait, you hillbillies don't use them anyway.

BMG Ezeon. Great quality (like EVERYTHING BMG sells), easy on, easy off...hence the name. And the best thing is you can get them in "your" size, not just m/l/xl..........

I got the french Rivet pants. Armour, zips up both sides and water proof. A little bulky but pretty good. Not too expensive either

Get something waterproof, breathable, and most importantly, wind proof. If you can wear them both as over pants or as wear alones, they could be more versatile.

Aerostich AD-1's, Darian pants, or Darian Lights...pretty pricey stuff, and probably your benchmarks.

My Triumph 5-pocket textile jeans have really proofed their worth over the years, though. Kind of a stretchy black cordura, Jean-style (but I really like the little coin pocket on the left side!), with a wind proof, water proof membrane sewn in, and fully lined with nylon flat mesh...dressy enough (black enough) to get away with that, too, on occasion.

I think I gave $100 for them, probably back around 2005. The waist hook loop pulled through the cordura, and the cordura around the hole the hook pulled through was tough enough to hold them up for a year or two, and then I had the bootmaker sew in a big snap reinforcing the area in leather.

Triumph makes several versatile riding jeans and pants now, and I like their stuff. Never complained about anything I bought to wear that Triumph sold.

I also like my half-chaps. Blocks the wind off below the knees in cooler weather, and keeps my jeans and inside my boots dry when the roads are wet. And I have pulled my a Triumph rain suit over them when it really did rain.

I'm using some "dryazabone" overpants they're good for cold weather too,but you need jeans/pants or something under.

I was going to buy a set of chaps until some of the "chaps" around here started singing "Y.M.C.A." when I told them.

When I got the bike, my wife made me promise, NO CHAPS! She gave me a nice gift certificate to a local leathers shop and I got leather over pants which I've never really stopped wearing. Perfect for cold and wind. I have rain pants to go over those when needed.
The gift certificate came with a picture of David Lee Roth in assless chaps.
