If you guys want a quick shine that is the best economical way to go,, check this out!

Turtle wax has a new no rince soulution. find it at wallyworld. It works great as a no rise (4 oz to 2 gallons of water) and even better as a Quick Detailer that can be used on chrome, glass, and plastic. get a 1 gallon jug. dump whole bottle of TWNR in it, top off with water. You get a gallon for 6 bucks. (vice 4 to 8 bucks for a single bottle) pour into a spray bottle and your good to go.(micro fiber highly suggested but detailer grade terry is good also) Or any other soft rag if thats what you got.
OK just wanted to share that. I made some up and its very good. Not a slick surface, but clean and shiny!

Sounds interesting. So is it a wax or a polymer or something else? How long does the shine last? Any streaking?

Cheers, Richard

Ok. It's a polymer. Because all the dirt is being gathered on your cloth, you would want to keep rotating it to minimize scratching your paint.

Hi Richard,
So I've watched the video I feel it doesn't tell all.
Once the chamois or cloth is contaminated as shown in the video, does one rinse the dirty chamois in the clean bucket of turtle solution or rinse the chamois under a tap then re-dip into the bucket magic turtle slop?
I'm thinking why not decant the solution into spray bottles and use it that way but I think that is what beamer was eluding to?
Like the idea of being able to wash the cage in the garage. That way I'm closer to my 2-wheelers.

Magic or not, if you get dirt(which is abrasive) in the cloth, it's like sanding your paint, magic voodoo cream or not.
Has the use of water been banned ? I'm just old school I 'spose.

I'm with you Wade. Good soak to soften dirt, hose off excess dirt, natural sponge with ph neutral detergent for the tougher gunge and hose off. Choose you favourite polish.

To clean I use just plain ol' water and a micro fiber cloth. To pretty 'er up I use Purple Slice.

There are many articles on this product. One suggest a tip to rinse micro fiber cleaning cloth in a clean bucket of water to remove dirt.
I won't be using this on my bikes, but it is an option for my sister's older autos.

Well I sure am lookin' forward to that good soak together. I'll get us some banjo tunes and a quart of that good fast shine. I'm easy.

But then those folks that use the superfluous "U" 'probly don't know nuffin 'bout banjos and North Georgia "shine".

And the choice of favourite Polish might be, say, "Grzegorz" ?

Grzegorz is never dull. He's premium Polish.

Guys,, its time to educate yourself on proper washing as far as putting dirty rag back on your car,,, you rince the towel out in the bucket, dirt falls off. when using towel fold it into 1/4ths. This gives you 8 working sides to use. If you dont want to resue your rag, put it in a empty bucket and use another towel. This is more along the lines of a Gary Dean Method. (his products are a bit more expensive but the method can be duplicated and I have used reg water, but distiled is really very nice) Just put your 2 gallons of water and solution in a 5 gallon bucket, for one care put 6 good microfibers in it. Use 8 sides of towel till dirty, get new towel. I did two cars in 20 min, One bucket (I was in a hurry) no scratching, leaves behind a nice clean and shiny look. As a detailer, mix it up like I said, and use clean towels just like you normaly would. This one does work on Plastic and chrome with out streaking. I clean my cars windows inside with it and it works better than anything I have used yet. for anyone interested here is Gary Dean method:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iTStk7vLKuM

And a great two bucket with foam gun. I have a cheepie foaming gun for 9 bucks from wall mart. I also have my power washer for the cars (NOT my bike LOLOL):
