Saw this on NPR and it reminded me of the recent cat discussion.

Yep all kinds of animal poo has health risks.

Yeah, but not too many people keep a box of livestock poop in their house.

So, they are saying that people who play with cat poop might be crazy?

Hmmmm. New hunting bow. Need practice with moving targets. Already really dislike cats which kill the native fauna.

You know Chet, you're startin' to sound just like this crazy freak HERE about this whole "cat" thing...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nW8S58CYQqs

I mean, you DO know that sounding as paranoid about things as THAT guy IS the first step away from mental health, don't ya???!!!...yeah, I THOUGHT you would!

(...oh, and one MORE thing here, guys...as YOU can probably tell, IF that crazy Throwback ever DOES "become President" like I occasionally read some people keep sayin' he "should be", then HEAVEN HELP US ALL!!!!!)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Now, that's just mean. I can handle crazy, paranoid, nutsack lunatic serial killer level maniac.

But being compared to Ted Nugent is just too much.

No, not aboriginal. I'm confess I'm an exotic import but I haven't bred, I don't have any major communicable diseases and I don't poo in the local playground and I don't eat the indigenous population.

However, while I am an uninvited guest in this country, my extinction is only a matter of time due to a compulsion to ride fast on a motorbike while under the delusion that my reactions are still those of a teenager.

Yeah Chet, me too. I'm stayin' out of rehashing the same ol' same ol' yet again and taking Mark Twain's advice:

"Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience."

Dont go crazy over the whole cat thing. They serve their purpose. Keep mice out of the livestock food, and out of the house, birds out of the garden seed, and such.
Humans have kept them for years and some cultures even worshipped them. They are just an animal like all others, they have pros and cons.

All these cat diseases could be taken care of very easily with some Tylenol. Give each cat one Tylenol and no more cat diseases (of course there would be no more cats as well).
