Almost forgot I had this. If ya need to borrow it just let me know. I just ask ya pay shipping (or come by and pick it up if yer close) And please don't loose any peices. I also got the mamoth allen socket needed for front axle, maybe some other stuff as well.

that exact model goes on sale at cyclegear.com about twice a year. i think i picked up mine for like thirty bucks? definitely something any motorcycle owner should have.

I'm having a hell of a time with this chain. Split both rivets putting the master link in. Ordered a new one and split the first rivet even after being super careful and going just a single flat at a time. The second one isn't cracked (yet), but it's only about .050 over. Is there a secret I don't know?

It's really hard for me to say without being there or being able to see what is going on. I've never had any issues with it myself, any chance your using the wrong anvil?
I'm not sure if the instructions are still in the case but below is a link for them.

You may be be a little heavy handed with the tool, you only have to upset the pin enough to keep it in place, no need to smash it flat. It won't go anywhere once you have swelled the pin enough for the side plate to not move.
