AMA, "EagleRider offers a 15% discount on Harley-Davidson, Honda, BMW and Polaris rentals and tours. Call (888) 900-9901 or book here using discount code: AMA***"

The 'code' has no effect.

3 day rental price
without AMA discount code applied $507.00
with AMA discount code - $507.00.

Way to go Eagle riders. Oh and I'd like to know why you have a separate 'Environmental Surcharge'. Like any other vehicle, your rentals, yes, do consume gas, have lead, and use oil. This 'Environmental Surcharge' is simply disgracefully cheeky. Makes one want to say, "bugger off"!

Whew. Where did that come from?

moe: eaglerider has a presence on twitter: https://twitter.com/EagleRider and probably facebook.

I believe that companies watch their twitter feeds and pay attention to complaints there.

Rent a wing. btw streeteagle.com is less expensive than EagleRider, and does not impose an environmental surcharge.

FWIW, I've always rented from Orlando H/D.

I USE to get any bike, other than the "customs", for a total of $104.95 a day, after-the-fact, including the $10 a day insurance. (That's puttin' 3K on the card for damage responsibilities. [I figured IF I got involved with any damages, I wouldn't be around to worry about paying for it ])

Movin' ahead five years, When I had to rent the Sportster for two weeks, they (Orlando H/D) wanted over $100 a day (no specials at that time), plus insurance, $35 a day. With junior behind the bars for the Georgia Rally (and beyond), I "re-thought" the damage responsibilities, and went with the best coverage, which was 0 responsibility. Eagleriders was $69 a day (again, no specials at that time), AND their best coverage (same as Harley's) was $5 a day cheaper.

When we returned it, after 2,500 miles without a wash, they had no issues, AKA added costs. (BOTH companies were really good about that! )

But the bottom line is, Eagleriders was about $40 a day cheaper for the same item, same insurance, and same policies/rules. Multiply that by the twelve days we had it, and, well....

My next rental WILL again be with Eagleriders. I'm REALLY HAPPY with the treatment I received. (Though I've never heard of Streeteagle, I will check them out)

And you may see me tonight With an illegal smile J. Prine
