Ok so I am really wanting to try it. Think I should find Bonneville single wall headers or BA dubble wall ones.
Life need a little Triumph!
2008 Triumph Speedmaster, Single baffle drag pipes, lots of black powder coatin,K&N pods, AI removed, TBS needles and a procom cdi.

Single wall would be easier. You can get a lot of helpful info on making fit up templates from a book called the "Pipefitters Pocket Handbook". It's hard to weld gaps and poor fitment on the thin stuff, let alone, make it look good too.

I don't plan on making it look good that's what they make wrap for LOL. I have a small mig and want to try. I guess I will start looking for junk Bonneville headers
