I found that bitwell chumps fit with just rerouting the throttle cable to the right side. Theyre 8 inch mini apes.
Drag bars will coil up all your electrical and cables into a mess near the headlight.
I've seen flipped trackers for the low look but atill had allot of cable/wire mess.

Ive got drag style bars from Bellacorse and I use Speedy Risers. http://www.bellacorse.com/bcc002-6.htmNo wiring mess or issue if you know how to properly wrap and stow your wires.

Wasnt directed at anyone in particular. Just saying I have drag bars and Lonzo did a great job on integrating them w/o cutting any wires or cables.

I've got Drag Bars, Buck Horns, and Clip-on's.
I can switch them in about 20-30 minutes, with NO changes to the stock cables, throttle, or grips. (but to make it quick, I do have a stock left hand grip permanently installed on all three bars, as well as the risers permanently attached to the Buck Horns/Drag Bars, so there's only the two 14mm nuts under the tree to do.)
Haven't tried Mini-Apes yet though, and they COULD present a problem. I don't know.
And you may see me tonight

I really like my chumps, I lean in to drag bars to much. They keep me a little more up right.

I have Nash El Gringo Bars on America height risers. I had them on the stock Speedmaster risers, but the lines were too tight. [image] [/image]

Biltwell Mustache bars. I did not have to move the throttle cables to the right side of the bike nor did the brake hose need to be longer with these bars, That is a big plus for a simple bar swap.

Love those Nash El Gringo Bars. I want to replace my current Western High risers from The NZ handlebar Company with the El Gringos I think. Love the black look and it would be good to have narrower bars again.

Time to get my shameless plug in. I have biltwell mini apes but I did have to change cables. It's well worth it if you ask me. It really is though. Also thanks to my corbin I can ride for hours in complete comfort. Perfect height for me.

5th change of bars. I think. 70s - 80s Stainless Harley Sportster bars I got off eBay. I have sprayed them black. They are by far the most comfy I have had on the Speedy. I also think they give the bike a nice retro look too. Also have fitted a set of Biltwell Slimline risers. Biltwell Ox Blood red Recoil grips.

i have also been considering the 8" chumps, i have a SM but the america cables and even with america bars and speedmaster risers i still have cable left so i would assume no issues with the chumps and america risers? But i would not want to run them forward like that, i see people tend to do this, is that becasue they are all speedmasters with the shorter cables?

Yes Speedy.
In fact I changed to America front brake line and clutch cable so I would have more free play.
The Chumps made me lean forward so what. This si what I did not like about them in the end.

They are better run forward. I found that if I had them leaning back towards me they places my hands in a position that caused numbness.
This is another reason I stopped using the Zombie Performance Micro Bend-o-lious bars.
With the Harley buckhorn my hands fall into a natural position and I get no numbness.

I've been kickin' around the thought of purchasing a set of what Flanders calls their "Vintage Triumph Type" handlebars here: http://www.sideroadcycles.com/AmericanMotorcycles/Handlebars/Classic_Bends/TriumphType.htmlThey remind me of classic Flat Track type handlebars, and which I've always thought looked great on any motorcycle. (...but then again, I think you guys all know how much I dig Street Trackers, right?!)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)
