I was going throught the post for newbies, for basic maintenance prevention. It said cracked vacuum plugs (caps according to maintenance book?) cause little backfires and popping. My '03 is doing this. can I acquire just the caps, somewhere?
I am also doing my first brake job on the bike after reading some posts here on the how-to. seems pretty straightforward, I have done it on my truck, so it seems similar.
While looking around my shop, I found an empty battery acid bottle that came with my ATV battery, where you add the acid prior to install. Perfect brake-bleeding fluid capture reservoir!
