I'm looking for more comfortable grips for my 07 SM, to be used with the OEM bar ends. Any suggestions?

All the cool kids have Kuryakyn ISOs. I love mine and no need to worry about the bar ends. They slip right on and hold very well. At least mine have.

I have had the ISO's.. They were far too big around for my hands. Just a heads up.

Avons. Smaller in diameter and USA made. Black or chrome and about 10.00 less than Kury.

Oh crap, Kens moved from the carbs onto grips! LOL just kidding. I have the ISO's also. I like em pretty well but I can't use my heaters with them.

Do you wear gloves when you ride? How big do the grips feel in your hand when you're riding? I've been wanting to get grips like that for a while. I'm just not sure if my hands will fit around them with gloves on.

Edwin, I run with ISO grips and LOVE the fact they are a bit larger. Even with heavy gloves they are comfortable and it seems my hands don't tire as much as they did on the stock grips due to both the larger size and the nice soft pads.

+1 on what Keith said. And I wear about a medium to a large in glove, depending on who makes them. (Meaning I don't have gorilla hands)

I wear gloves (size large). The grips do not feel large in my hands. They are a bit larger than OEM but I find my hands do not tire as quickly.

The ISO's are great. Got mine on Father's Day and went out for 200+ miles today....a few minutes to get used to them is all.....get the throttle boss too. Perfect for the hiway.

I went with the Pro-Grip 842's: They required some minor surgery to fit the way I wanted. The throttle sleeve nubs at the housing side were ground shorter & the ends had to be cut off the grips in order to use the OEM bar end caps. For about $17 delivered to my door, I like 'em. Comfortable, too.

I bought another set of 842's for less than $16 delivered. Couldn't pass 'em up.

I really want the grips from perforamce machine. I've felt them and are awesome. Some other companys make the same looking ones for way cheaper and I'm sure they are just the same. But I really like having colored grips cause it looks cool. I think I'm getting over the color ones now that I think about it.

I just got a set of Original Grip Buddies to try out. It's a set of neoprene wraps that go over the existing grip, held by a clever adhesive strip and Velcro combination and looks to increase the diameter by 3/16" or so. Feels really cushiony and I'm one of those that likes a fat grip so I'll be excited to try them out. $25 shipped.

Thanks Keith. I'll have to get a set now.
