As some of y'all know Im a NW FL native and due to life circumstances Ive been in Az, 1500+ miles away from my kids, for the past two years. Sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do, and finding work in my field back in NWFL is extremely difficult.
That being said, I just received an offer from a company in Lower Alabama.
Best of All, this position allows me to live any where I want.
Possibly better than that, the company knows I want to move home to NWFL and included a full relocation package in my offer. Really? For a job that allows me to live anywhere in the world and they are gonna pay for me to move home...

Guess I'll be at the GA Rally next year

That's great. I used to live in Milton. 10 minutes from the
"LA" border.

A job that allows you to be working from anywhere in the world is probably what most would desire!

That sounds like a great move in your life.

Awesome. I'm very happy for ya.

I have no faith in human perfectability. I think that human exertion will have no appreciable effect upon humanity. Man is now only more active - not more happy - nor more wise, than he was 6000 years ago. Edgar Allan Poe

Really glad to hear this panned out for ya, Ryan!

I know how much you missed being close to your kids.

(...say, maybe I'll see ya at next year's Georgia rally!)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Milton, eh? That's where my kids live and probably where I'll be hanging my hat since I have a house there.
My degree Im a physicist, but I've been deep in RF and Electronic Warfare for the past decade.
Going to work for a private Radar company in, believe it or not, Enterprise, AL. I'll be doing a ton of International travel, but when Im home I'll be able to concentrate on the kiddos.

I know where Enterprise is. I lived in Milton, like others, when I went through primary flight training for the Navy. Of course, when I lived there it wasn't the urbane cosmopolitan metropolis it is now.
