Lucky he wasn't going fast otherwise the headline would've been much different. Hope he has good insurance, just wait for those post-accident injury claims to come in despite them saying no one was seriously injured!

He achieved a "Hat Trick", if you count his own bike.
Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats.

That's bad.
MT Hwy 200 runs the length of the county I live in. Follows the Clark Fork river, is very scenic, narrowing in sections. During the summer tour groups of bicyclists share the roadway with cars, pickups, RV's, tractor trailers and motorcyclists. Folks are generally careful, although it's not unusual to come to a complete stop waiting for a safe spot to go around them.

There is a +1 for Helmets. 2 of 3 landed on their heads, espicially the 1st bicyclist, or a secondary right to the head. 3rd guy had a body for cushin.

If anything, it looked like a no fault accident... the guy they interviewed was a dick. Didn't look like he was going too fast, but he was using the whole lane to make the turn and then you have those slow moving bicycles in the way... Bad deal all around, but I would place blame on anyone there.

I know that road like the back of my hand being a two wheel LA native. Did the guy filming know the rider? If not the why was he recording (just wondering if the motorcycle drew attention for being reckless). I have been taking trips to The Rock Store since 1969 and have seen lots & lots of accidents along that section of road, usually involving kids on their new Ninjas. I am glad everyone was alright without any major injuries, with that said.....bicycle riders have been invading The Rock Store for the last 10 years or so, yeah they have a right but I stopped riding up there since that started. I would rather deal with the old school biker clubs that frequented the spot in the late 60's early 70's than the spandex brigade. I know Bob has been up there when he makes the Hansen Dam run.
Ride like you mean it.

I see two wheels on the white line looks like the rider was headed for the dirt no matter what. He is totally at fault those cyclists were hugging the edge of the road as best they could and I hope they sue that arsh off the rider.

One of the most popular places around here to ride bicycles is the Blue Ridge Parkway.
It's also, IMHO, one of the worst.
No bike lanes, no shoulders, stupid riders. By Federal law they must ride single file but they almost never do. At least on a motorcycle you can pass them. Sometimes they'll have 20 cars backed up as they go up a mountain at 1 mph.
I ride bicycles, too. Mountain bikes. Why anyone would want to mix bicycles and cars (unless you're commuting) is beyond me.
