So I was a genius and didn't maintain my bike very well last year ( my excuse was planning a wedding) and now my needle and seats are bad on my bike. Where do I order them? Thanks

Needle? As in carb? Eddy would be my choice. Fast Eddy Sports (you may have to call him for needles.) You could try one of our other vendors also. Vendors Seat depends on if you want stock or aftermarket. I'd put an add in the classifieds and see what people have to offer. There again "our" vendors carry a nice selection too. Good luck getting it all back in shape.

Ok I'll bite. How did you screw up the needles? Just curious really. eBay if you're patient. But vendors listed are great.

Seafoam? It does a fairly good job of de-gunking carbs, fouled from ethanol gas.

I'm going to guess that the OP is talking about the float needle & seat.

From the Tech Vault Float Needles Using the Manufacturer PN: 18-8977, local dealerships should be able to check their inventory.

well...like I said I was smart and didn't maintain the bike like I should have. When we took the carb apart the gas that was in it was green . Well my hubby cleaned the carbs and put it back together and said it ran really rough and the gas was coming out of the overflow. He ran air through the carbs to see if the seats were leaking and they are. So he's saying I need to replace the needle and seats.

The part you have red circled, never comes in contact with fuel.

Most of the time when ya clean ya carbs and put them back together dry they will stick. I use two cycle oil to lube those up when assembling. They are not ruined. It kind of tough to ruin float needle and seat assy.

Well finally got a chance to call my dealer. They said the needles go bad but that the seats are not replaceable on that kind of bike. I couldn't believe they only wanted $11.00 for needles! Woohoo!

The needle couldn't be messed up unless its dinged or bent.

They have a rubber that can swell over time. But its not likely hers are hurt at all. I have put many carbs together, and sometimes the needles would stick. After I started dipping them in twocycle oil it neve happend again.
