That significantly reduces the lean angle for sure. Cool idea though.

What he said. It's a nice idea though.

The concept has been around for a long time. I remember seeing them for sale in Wing World back in '89 when I had my GL. They folded up into the saddlebags and you couldn't even tell they were there until deployed. I only saw one in person and they automatically dropped at a pre-set speed. Seemed awfully expensive and scary to me.

I can and it would suck. Man, its a damn training wheel. Forget trikes or sidecars it says? No thanks, I'll take those 2 over a 3rd wheel anyday. No one likes a 3rd wheel, I've been one several times.

On one hand, maybe if you need this device on your giant cycle, you should just retire. Or get a smaller bike. Or, get a three wheeler. On the other hand, this device could let you to continue to ride. And although the device is expensive, it's still cheaper than buying a three wheeler.

I looked at these when I had my second hip replacement as a way to keep riding.

Instead, I bought a 300 pound lighter bike, a Triumph Speedmaster.

The day will come when I will have to choose between some type of three wheeler or quit riding...I'll take a three wheeler of some sort first!

Good luck and ride safe!
