I own a 2007 Triumph Speedmaster. I have a dd gauge HLY-3016. It comes with very clear directions and a wiring diagram. My problem is understanding the wiring diagram for my Speedmaster. The wiring diagram for the dd gauge tell's me what each wire does for the gauge. I am not a mechanic nor do I know anything about wiring. Learning as i go. Thanks for any help.

What wiring diagram are you using for your speedy? Haynes? OEM manual?

Here is the wiring for the Dakota Digital Gauge. [image] [/image] To start I'm assuming all the wires I need are bundled together already. On The DD Gauge Install papers. "Power Connect the Red wire from the main harness to accessory from ignition switch." I don't know where this is on my wiring harness coming up in front of the tank. This pic show the wires other end connected to the Blinker. [image] [/image]

Test the red/blue (#2 in the clock connector) or purple (#3 in the clock connector) and see if one of those two will work. I think red/blue should do it unless it needs more current than a light bulb.

Thanks. I chickened out though. My bike is at a local bike shop getting wired up. I can do basic wiring. I just didn't want to burn out my new gauge.
