Is there a smaller speedometer from other Triumph model that works on my 2006 America?

You can use a drag specialties...If you don't mine having some miles on the OD you can have mine for shipping...I am running a Acewell now: http://www.acewell-meter.com/

Not sure if this is the right ratio...

Thanks for the tip. But it's better if I can find a speedo with kph scale.

Could a speedo from an early Bonneville (Hinckley) work if you think about ratio and cable? Anyone know?

Hmmmm...so ya say ya want it in "kilometers" instead, huh Calle?!

Does it matter what color..err, I mean coloUr it comes in???

(...couldn't resist the joke)

And btw, I don't see why the non-American market standard Bonnie speedo in KPH wouldn't work, as I'd guess the cable hookup and the ratio would be the same on both the large BA/Speedy speedos and the smaller standard Bonnie's...though this is just a guess.

I'd say maybe contact your local Triumph Dealer and the Parts(Spares) Dept manager might be able to give you a definitive answer to this.

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

The "2240:60 Ratio" is the correct one for America s and Speedmasters for a factory readout, you can find one here web page There are several suppliers and vendors out there, Google is your friend

I'm in the process of doing the same. Can any one tell me if a 12mm cable nut will work? The speedo I'm looking at has this.

12mm is the correct size of our OEM cables to the speedo.

Bonnies are a different ratio to America/Speedmasters in the speedo, but what is the same is early Yamaha, try Mikes XS or somewhere similar they sell mini speedo's in KPH that fit our bikes nicely, and the speedo cables match straight up, if you also need a longer speedo cable they also sell extensions, 6" 8" or 10" they also have them in white face as well as black

Do you have the one with the black face or the white face? I'll take it off you hands if its the black one. PM me your info.
