It seems the front tire wears out on the left side (clutch side) faster than the center or right side. I checked to be sure my forks were even. Could the rim not have the correct dish? I've never touched the spokes & the rim appears to run true. Any ideas?

Does the left side of you weigh more than the right side? Are you carrying bricks in your left saddlebag? I suppose technically since it's a tba and only has one disk that it'll brake slightly more on the left side of the tyre... maybe... very odd. Matt

Dou you ride in L/Hand circles often? (ha, sorry for the joke!)
When you checked your forks were even, did you check to see if they were twisted slightly in the clamps? This would cause the tire to wear un-even becaused the front / back tire would be running skewed down the road (it would feel like your steering either way when you were actually going straight)...

Its the way roads are made. They are crowned to allow water, etc. to drain off to the side. If you ride any distance on super slabs, yout tires will wear more on the left side. If you ride in strange countrys, on the "wrong" side of the road your tires will wear on the right side.

Maybe your rear tire is out of alignment.

A friend at work had a tire that wore out like yours. He swore it was because of the crown in the roadways. It seemed possible, but, somehow I believe it would only be applicable if you maintained the same position on the road, went predominently straight, and introduced very few variables. Well, don't ya just know that the second tire didn't wear out like the first. I suspect the first tire was just a fluke - maybe the result of poor maintenance, or, maybe manufacturing defect.

You might want to carefully check the REAR tire alignment. If in adjusting your chain, the rear tire was not straight (equal side adjustments), your front wheel would have to compensate as the rear tire is driving the bike.
