ok, so i seem to have an oil leak(s) at first seemed to be coming from the valve cover on the left side, and very well may have, engine had been really cold and it may have dribbled a tad, that seems to have stopped. however i am def getting a drip from somewhere around the clutch side of the bike, underneathish. having trouble tracking it down. is there a particular problem area on our bikes for oil leaks?

Your valve cover gasket may be hardening up, from heat cycles and age. Also check your neutral sensor, underneath and directly behind the oil filter. The easiest solution, is to wipe it down good, go for a short ride and check thoroughly.

Bill, I had kinda the same drip from apparently the clutch side of Black Beauty a short while back. Got er' up on the lift and took a good long look to see if I could find the spot.....nada oil spot along the cases to indicate a leak there.

Take a look at the breather lines coming off the air box (that is if your scoot still has the air box)....My drip turned out to be oil coming out of the breather line from the air box.....there's suppose to be a small aerator/cap on the end/inside of each of the air box breather lines....if one or both are gone it'll drip for sure.
