Only with a twist of lime Just busting ya.

I think it is a fine product used in moderation to keep the fuel system clean.

I think the stuff is very good, i use it in the winter as a stabilizer and always run it through my system for the first tank in the spring. Its no substitute for proper carb cleaning and stuff when required but will keep it cleaner in the interim. IMO

I'm a skeptic. But I have seen, with my own eyes, some carburation problems fixed by using it.

I use it on a regular basis, especially if the bike has been sitting for a while. I also put a good amount in last fall. If I know I'm going for a decent ride, like around Mount Rainier for the day in the summer, I'll usually put some in.
I also usually put a capful of Marvel Mystery Oil in the tank during the summer.
My neighbor who lives across from me is a petrol head mechanic and fellow rider. He swears for Stay-bil as a fuel stabilizer. I haven't tried it yet.

Remember when gasoline used to be stable on it's own and easily outlast today's fuel? Anyway, I digress... I use nothing over the six months my bike is down for winter, then a dash of sea form when I fire 'er up again in the Spring. No probs at all.

I remember the gas in my 51 Chevy sitting a few years and would still start the truck.

I used a can in my Ford work truck today, hoping to fix a sudden rough running problem. Probably not gonna do it. Stupid truck...one thing after another...and I'd sell it in a minute if I could...Never another F.....ord.

Kid down the street has a 250 ninja he let it set for a few months while out of town working. When he got home one of the first things he did was get the bike out for a ride. Well after him running up and down the street several times poping, sputtering and restarting many times I decided I needed to talk to him. I could tell it was a fuel problem, everytime he tried to accelrate it would die so I knew he wasn't getting fuel. I told him what I thought and that he should try some sea-foam and see what happens if it didn't cure it we would pull carb and see. Couple hrs later same thing, up and down the street popping and stalling but it was getting better, within a few passes it started getting a lot better. Soon it seemed all was good, didn't hear him return for several hrs , when he did he stopped here and couldn't thank me enough. I have used it in my yard tools many times and once a yr or so I wll run a capfull through Millie and have had no fuel probs with her. One thing you gotta know, this is one of those products that more is not really better use what the directions say I have known of times when to much has caused a problem

ENJOY!!!!! NEWT!!!!!

I normally use Amsoil Fuel Stabilizer and it seams to work pretty well. But last fall I forgot to put anything into my KTM 450EXC. When I fired it up in the spring it was popping and would not idle at all. I figured before I pulled the carb off I would try some sea foam. I poured a little in the tank and road it around my field for about 15 minutes and I noticed it was running smoother. I stopped and she was idling fine. I also run a little thru my TBA when I fire it up for the first time in the spring and I have had good luck so far. I would recommend it!

I keep some around, for sure.

Use it just for maintenance purposes only, can not say for sure it ever fixed anything, but has not ever hurt anything, to be sure.

If I'm heading out on a several hundred mile ride, and have to gas up on the way out, I'll poor a little in the tank before I head out.

I can't say mine ever sits up for any length of time....maybe a knee surgery once, and a back surgery a couple of years back, but generally she gets out at least every 7-10 days for at least a 60+ mile run across town and back. That's the best maintenance one could ever do.

Well, here's my 2 cents worth. I have a Porsche and some of the forum members recommend SeaFoam when you have a little blue oil puff on start up or a stickey lifter. I would get the blue oil puff when I let it sit for 2 weeks. After SeaFoam treatments haven't seen anything. Probably start using it in the America once a month just to keep the combustion clean. Now for gas...back in th 60's with leaded gas you never had problems. Good old hi-test was the best, expensive though, .19 cents American White, Sunoco Blue 260 .21 cents and .23 cents for Sunoco 280. Used the 280 at the drag races. That would be pertty close to NASCAR racing fuel.

My first exp withbseafoam was on my Mitsubishi Montero. Rough idling was getting bad so I pored the appropriate amount into the fuel and ran the rest through the vac system. Man... That thing smoked like a James Bond smokescreen but when it was all said and done the rough idle was gone.

I have since taken to running it through the bikes a couple times a year and pour the correct amount into a full tank when I know she's gonna sit for a while.

Same results with my Isuzu Trooper. Instant Mosquito Control. But it worked.

I'll run some through the all the tanks every year or so, but I can't say that it does anything if there's not a pre-existing problem.
