That a broken cruise ship without power and having to be tugged back to port for repairs would be named... Triumph! (I'm gonna go hide now... )

The latest news from Carnival is that the ship will be re-christened "Harley Davidson."

Yep, Wade. There's no "coincidence" here.
Nope. I guess John here hadn't heard that the Carnival Cruise Lines had come THIS close to namin' that baby the "S.S. Prince of Darkness" instead, but they just figured naming it what they did would entice a lot more old geezers to choose their ship to vacation on.
(...during which time of course they'd be walkin' up to others on board and tellin' 'em.."Yeah! Back in the day, I used to ride a Triumph TOO!")
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Carnival has another ship called Victory. It seems to still be afloat, but should I be concerned?

I understand there is an artificial reef, formed by a sunken salvage vessel, named 'The Sportster'.

Have seen the ship many times from the interstate when in Mobile. Was on the way home from the Mobile Bay Vintage M/C show and stopped for a pic today. Since it broke loose and tried to escape last week I took the opportunity before it gets away
09 America, some modifications

The ship responds to the Triumph ad slogan, "Go your own way".
