I'll stick with my winters with occasional (some winters none) snow but mild temperature and summers that rarely see 90. If it does get stifling hot (like 88 or 90) I can just ride up toward Mt. Mitchell. Never gets above about 72 up there (about 25 mile ride). Hilton Head Island is just a 4 hour ride.
I hate oppressive heat as much (no, more) than I hate cold. I can put on a coat if I'm cold.

WHA, WHA, WHA. Bunch of babies.  I can build a fire when I'm cold or jump in some water when its hot. LOL.  You know we as the human race have evolved a lot and we have these new inventions called clothes, they make them for all types of climates. I hear that in the near future the may even be a device that is capable of adjusting the tempature of your dwelling to what ever you desire all by itself with some type mechanism that senses the ambient temp.

What was the temperature? By the way you guys are bundled up one would think it was below 0C/32F.

70's...... I don't put the lining back in my jacket until it hits 50. Ideal riding weather for me is mid 60s.
I mentioned to my 11 yo daughter that it was going up to +1C today and her response .... "wow, it's going to be warm." She then followed it up with, "only a Canadian would say that."

Ok all i can say is you lucky shite! As Jim noted we in Canada (Alberta for sure) would very likely be wearing a wind breaker, open face lid and a smile the size of Alaska! Great pics man.... i can't wait.... again.

Peck's was great. And priced right.
What I liked best (second to the ride) was the outdoor dinning.
(Then, of course, the ride back out.)
