Can anyone suggest a flag pole and mount that will fit our bikes sissy bar/luggage rack ? I'm finding some flag pole mounts on eBay but they are all for round tubing. That or they use zip ties, which don't appeal to me.
Thanks in advance.

Hang on and Sunday I'll give you a link to a WELL egineered American made set that will mount on your turn signal stems. And they fold down! Very cool. It's late, I'll see ya tomorrow.

Yep, I saw that one (and others similar) but it looks like it's intended for round rails, not our flat rails. Edit to add, ooops I forgot you mentioned these would fit on the turn signal stalks. Thanks for the suggestion none the less !!! Steve

Yeah, it's a perfect fit, I leave the clamp part permanently affixed to my signal stalks about halfway and just twist on the pole part when I do a PGR ride. The signal stalk really supports the flags well with no wobble.

I'm actually thinking of joining the PGR. I've also heard of a sub vet group out here that I'd like to join. I joined another group, with what I thought were similar political leanings, but they are a bit too radical for my liking. I might drop them. Thanks again !
LOL...I found an identical set, on eBay, for a few dollars cheaper (still with free shipping).

Well, looks like you already got some poles, but for future reference here is the site I found stamped on my flag mounts, the eBay link was some other folks. http://www.americanmotorcycleaccessories.com/products.asp?cat=92

Nope, i don't have any poles yet. That's why I was asking for suggestions. Again, I like your idea and will most likely go that route. Just have to decide what size flags (6" vs 8").

Steve, just get the poles w/o flags and then go to the PGR website and get you an American flag for the right and a PGR flag for the left. Those are really thick and high quality. My flags are 10 x 14 and fit perfectly on the bike. I got the poles from that last link I posted.
