Last year (or so) Triumph had a t-shirt with some old biker movie on it. I think it was something like Hellcats or something. Does anyone know what the movie was?

Can you supply a pic of it for us, Soren?

"Hellcats" was a TV series about a cheer leading squad. It's also an airplane, a women's roller derby team in California, and a Confederate Motorcycle Co. bike model.

I've kept my eye on Triumph Ts over the years pretty well, I'm at a loss. If you come up with something let us know, I'm curious.

I think that's up for debate.

And here was the trailer for this flick...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GfoaccaEifk

Interesting, at 41 seconds it shows/says: "A super-charged triangle...Two chicks...Two guys...And one out-of-sight cycle". And, to me the "out-of-sight cycle" appears to be a very cool Triumph-engined Rickman-framed desert racer.

(...and so for the cognoscenti here: Is that what it appears to be to you too?)

Dwight, you will get this, it's from a review of the movie.

"The is actually an update of the old Jimmy Stewart movie Winchester '73, except a motorcycle is used in place of the rifle."

The reviewer also says this is the seconded most important bike movie of the late 60s after Easy Rider.

I'm a little more interested in the '55/'56 rag-top on 77.

I didn't recall GM making a rag-top shoebox. (but obviously, they did!)

Yep. I remember a neighbor with a '56 rag top. Pretty rare though, I wonder how many they made.
