I like mine, though I don't use the switchblade feature.

My buddy has 'em, he doesn't like them either. He says you can't open them up while riding, you have to stop and open them up by hand.

I've heard good things mostly. I guess they are good if you don't want a floor board but some comfort for longer rides. The opening by hand is the biggest complaint I've heard.
I tried the SwingWing pegs and didn't care for them. I couldn't get my toe under the shift lever easily. The person that bought them from me, they worked very well for.
It's all about your comfort and what works.

Just got em installed and besides an issue with the old circlips which i fixed by using a bolt instead of the orignal pins. I love em. I decided to use em as standard footpegs rather than as highway pegs and so far they seem to work really well. I havent attempted to open up at speed but am able to open up with just a boot.

Fitted a set of kuryakyn long horn duallys a few months back and really pleased with them. Great range of adjustment and good area to rest boot on. Have had the switch blade type before on a couple of bikes and these are way out in front

I can do it while riding, but I would suggest practicing a lot first, so you don't have to concentrate too hard while moving
