Cold is manageable. You just have to prepare. I'll be in a tent or outside all weekend. Going camping with the scouts for the Klondike Derby.

Was nice and sunny,not to cold here today.Been waiting for items to arrive.Can anyone tell me why it takes so long for anything to arrive from the US,not only that but why does it cost so much?From hong kong the stuff is here in a week and free postage,ordered a fender from the UK and in two days it's in customs in Toronto.I ordered some vacume caps from the US two weeks ago and all the tracking number does is tell me it has been shipped on the day after it was paid for.I'll die from old age before my parts get here.  So I guess I'm waiting.

In between bouts of rain and some snow I've been building a new 20X30 hoop house for the garden. You northern types call 'em cold frames. And, looking at the bikes waiting for it to dry up enough to go for a ride. The fun roads have been comprimised by the rains and slides and any road uphill is covered in run off gravel in every turn. Gonna be a slow spring when it c omes to riding.
At work, rehearsals begin Feb. 4th for this year's tour which includes four stadium dates, all of which I expect to sell out. The first date at Fenway sold out in 40 minutes, the second added show is almost sold out now; the shows are in July. Jason's working his 8th #1 single in a row and his momentum is good making my decision to come out of retirement seem like a good choice. Sure has cut into my riding time...

Been freezing.
Starting to thaw slowly.
Looking forward to going skating on the canal as soon as the temperatures get above -20 (and at that temperature it doesn't matter if it is F or C), maybe this week-end.

I'm trying to get the '49 put back together so I can drive it again, but the garage is too damn cold, even with my heater... I am also back in school chasing a degree, so I'm taking night classes, this semester I'm taking welding

Was able to clean the garage this past Sunday and take the bike for a short spin. It had been collecting dust since November. It took a while for it to start and warm up. Hopefully, another warm Sunday afternoon isn't to far off.
Target practicing is what's passing the winter blues away.
Didn't buy into the hype, you can keep the change.

Tried out my new-to-me $30 pawn shop edger. Transplanted a couple of Ligustrums and a Blood Orange tree. Looked at the bikes in the garage, but too much stuff in the way. Tomorrow, I promised myself a ride to go pick up my paycheck.

Not the best winter for me. Flu before Xmas, then bronchitus, then bronch again, (and still lingering on, after two courses of meds.) Missed a bunch of work, but still, plugging along on the house with every little bit of extra money that turns up. The only thing I regret about spending all extra money and time on the house is that I havn't spent any time doing fine woodworking. And, of course, wasting my time keeping up with you hosers on here!

We've got just as many "Twisties" as anyone, they're just two dimensional. I'll get the wife to get plenty of good pic's of the twisties, as we navigate around the swamps on our way to Ozello, FL., next Saturday! today I had to bleed this  last weekend fitted this  and this  exhaust arrived from coating yesterday  had to put new packing and fit it  and job done  CLIK THE PICTURE

And THAT'S exactly how they do it. They don't "Shake" ya like an animal would, they draw-in their limbs and "Twist" in circles. They would prefer to drown ya and stick ya in some underwater tree roots till your good and waterlogged.

Spent my Christmas and birthday money on parts to make mods and pick up some tools to make my tool bag a bit more complete. Now if Spring would get here so I could hang out in my garage, I could start tearing sh*t apart. But for now, staying indoors reading about bike mods and thinking of summer bike trips.

I'd like to say I've been working on the bike, but no. My boys keep me plenty busy (2&3 yrs old), I got to go see Yo Gabba Gabba live last weekend, so I got that going for me. I also enrolled in college recently, trying to get my bachelor's degree.
