I have no faith in human perfectability. I think that human exertion will have no appreciable effect upon humanity. Man is now only more active - not more happy - nor more wise, than he was 6000 years ago.

Well done! It was a pretty good show. One of the hightlights for me was checking out the new Trophy. I was SO pissed I didn't get to see Mike Wolfe on Friday. Just my 2 cents, that Harley-looking batwing fairing on the T-Bird is so wrong. Can't someone make a fairing that doesn't look like it came off a Harley?

Yes it's on the Trophy. That is Harleyish looking but aren't most cruisers? I'm not sure what you could do to get away from that look on a cruiser. Victory has their own style But I personally think most of the Vic's look cartoonish. Good bikes, odd looks. But as they say, to each his own.
Oh, love the babe painting the bird. Bird on Bird

Mike is the same in person that you see on tv, isnt he? Come on out to LeClaire to AA, he is there often and fun to watch him interact with people.
Over the last couple of years, I have see the AA van all over town, come up on Mike (riding his Street Glide, I think the Indian is his big deal now) and Frank riding their bikes around the area.
Frank has a store in Savanna, IL now. Lots of biker stuff to see in Savanna, plus real nice riding around the area.

Brian Klock of Klock Werks built the Bagger and will have a bolt on kit with the fender different shaped bags to fit the profile of the bike. A fairing and bars all designed for the thunderbird specifically. Ya it looks like a Harley but I want that style bike and knowing I can get a kit like that might just keep me riding a Triumph. http://www.kustombaggers.com/kustomcycles.htmThere are alot more and better pics on their facebook page

Just my 2 cents, I'd prefer to see something a little different than a H-D look-alike batwing fairing. I definitely like a fairing on a bike, but to me it should be brand-unique.
Triumph could make a T-Bird or a Rocket a proper bagger for the long haul with their own unique fairing. Why they don't is another question.

Chuck, that lady got in the way of your shuttle pic! You should have told her to move!

I wish they would but I think they are so fare behind what the public wants on the cruiser front. From some of the spy shots they have a "fat boy" bird coming out which is very out of style.

Great pictures. Thanks! Triumph should do a touring T-bird with it's own style fairing as you say,a 1000+cc America/Speedy. A more "slim" rocket 3, smaller tank, fuel under the seat as in Vmax perhaps.re-design the pipes for the T-bird and the rocket3.They should have me in R&D, pay me mega dough. Oh well, back to reality

The R3 engine in another package would sell better than what they have now. Let's face it, Triumph should sell LOTS of Rockets but don't. Hard to believe the geniuses at Hinckley haven't figured out why.

I really like the looks of that fairing on the bird. Tsukayu makes a batwing for the T-bird as well. the only draw back is it wont fit with the dual headlight set up. I am really thinking about getting one and that picture push me a little further along.
