Ah yes, this one really hits home. Ray (my music partner) and I pull off another cover. This time we do "Burn One Down" by Ben Harper. Hope you enjoy.

Again, if you could comment or "like" it, it would be greatly appreciated.

Your title says it all! Another great cover! I was happy to see another and I hope you keep posting them. I gave it a thumbs up. If you are going to work on covers all winter long, I'll throw out a request/suggestion. How about Richard Thompson's 1952 Vincent Black Lightning?

Well, color me OBTUSE, or just out of touch, what with ridin' around ALL WINTER here in these nice North Georgia twisties, but which one of those dapper young fellows is this "Yours Truly", the young one on our right, or the young one on the left ?

Thank you.

Keith has a unique ability to meld chameleon-like into a wide variety of cultures. It's a skill he acquired through necessity as a young man.

That video was taken in the recording studio/guest room wasn't it? Nice tune, well done

That was a purposely placed prop (not bad alliteration, eh?) just to keep 'em guessing.

That was cool Keith, great harmonizing. Your buddy has a good voice too. I had never heard that song before but I like it.

That's a pretty tall order. R.T. is waaaaay up there with the greats in guitar playing and his "Vincent Black Lightning" exemplifies that fact. But ya know, I just love that song and do very much entertain the idea of covering it someday.

You COULD try a "punk" style re-do.

(Play it like the Pistols cover of "Johnny Be Good" )

That should make your task MUCH easier.
(And even BETTER, in MY humble opinion. )

I suggested it because (to me at least) you guys sound that good together. Like Mert said, your voice is like Thompson’s, or maybe it’s the duet. I hear a similar timbre and ‘Burn One Down’ made me think of that song by Thompson so I suggested it. I went back and listened to 1952 Vincent a couple of times and can see it would really hard to do.
But maybe like Erle said, strip it down a bit… The vocals can make up for it and sometimes that makes it better. Regardless, I am looking forward to whatever you guys do next!
