I don't think you can make a vetter fit over the forks. I did have an older model harley batwing fairing fitted but I did not like the look of it and it didn't do a very good job. I'll see if I can find a picture.

The best wind management I have found is a memphis fats with lowers.

If you're talkin' about a frame mounted fairing here Lucas, I don't think I've either seen or heard of anyone doing that to their BA/Speedy around here. I think the most I've seen anybody do in this regard is to mount one of those "Batwing" style fairings on their forks.

(...I see Bill beat me by a few minutes sayin' pretty much the same thing here)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

I think those are the ugliest damn things I've ever seen on a motorcycle. There's not much they could do to a Harley, though.

If you can find a fork-mounted fairing for your machine, go for it.

A fairing is pretty darn practical for wind and weather management.

If you can't make a fairing work, a proper height windscreen and lowers can make a big difference too. Good luck!

Here's another option http://parabellum.com/

Charly started out with Craig Vetter years back and has a good reputation for aerodynamic performance. We had another member that was working with him on the America/Speedmaster application. I don't remember who, but I believe that's his bike in the photos. I had a few phone conversations with Parabellum a few years back and they seem like a good bunch.

I never tried it but I have a Vetter frame mounted fairing on a Honda CX500 out back I would part with. The plexi is missing I think but otherwise intact last I saw it.

I have a cafe fairing for sale all set up for our bikes. It a gives good wind protection off your chest. If It doesn't end up selling I will probably leave it on the bike and upgrade the light.
