Well folks.. I'm just going to do this all myself... I'll be hosting the Ga Rally this year. Free beer for the duration of your stay and I'll buy you all a steak dinner if you come down. I'm going to rent this big cabin in the mountains and y'all can all stay for free there too.
If theres anything else I can do, don't hesitate to ask!

Hmmm - Beware. I just referenced my Mayan calendar - Seems the conquestadors made the same offer for a Yucatan Rally several years back. What's in the bottle J.R.?

I'm more than ready  , spiritually, but it will bankrupt me this time.  THIS TIME, my oldest son (John, 26) will be joining me and the youngest son Steven, who was with me for day one last year. We'll be doing the same two week vacation including the rally, the inbred's (family) in Adairsville, GA., the cabin in Hayesville, SC., Lake Chatuge in Hiawassee, GA., the Dragon in SC/TN., and runnin' with the whores in Hazelhurst, GA., then back to Disney World. WE ARE SOOO... GONNA CRASH THIS RALLY  , with a '80 GS850, a '82 CB900C, and an '05 America that looks more like a Thruxton than an America! (with Chy's approval, of course)  "Are we there yet?"

Well since JR has backed out of paying for everyones trip I guess we'll just have to go back to the original plan.... This years get together will be the second weekend in May 10,11&12 .. that seems to work best so we'll just go with it. Looking forward to it! Hoping to see y'all in the Spring...

I will be camping at Etowah River Campground. Early enough notice to schedule around any work trips. I will outfit the camp with some niceties.

Dang it! I knew that was going to happen!
My youngest son graduates from NSULA on the 10th.
On the other hand, northwest La. is halfway to Georgia from here...
This might take some planning....

Jaki let me know that spots 11,12,13 are reserved. 4 to a site = $5 per person. Good showers and decent toilets for you. Let me know if yyou plan to camp so I can plan accordingly.

No kidding. We were in St. Pete all weekend for a swim meet, and it was very toasty. I can handle it until the humidity comes up, and then I want out!

count me in for the rally and for camping....anybody else from DC/MD/VA coming down? My plan is leave early thursday, do a relaxed 400 miles, then cover the last 250ish friday morning. (drive back same way in reverse - get back monday night)
...you're gonna feel a little pressure....

My Rallies have somewhat changed over the years....I do the annual 3 state ride with the BritBike.com guys in May, then the "Brits in the Blueridge" Rally in June, and several other impromptu rides and adventures with the Greater Atlanta British Motorcycle Assoc... The 3 state ride being my favorite, as the 60 or so of us, all on vintage British machines, tear through 3 states in 2 separate groups...This will be my 4th year! We are all much older than the group here per se, and I just seem to fit in much better....Kimmy and I have been separated since July (She left me on my birthday), and her bike has since sold. I still have Frog, and ride regularly throughout the Gainesville/Dahlonega area on weekends....Working thru our Divorce, and brighter days to come!!!

i will be there. camping if i bring the car and tow the America. at a hotel if i ride the sprint. subject to change, i am car shopping. maybe i will get a RV
