Not all old movies are good ones either some of them plain suck too. But here is an intersting one for ya, "Bloodsucking Freaks". Find it and watch in horror.

Eeh! I'll bet it's not NEARLY as scary as this dance hall scene from the "classic" 1964 Vic Savage produced and directed film, "The Creeping Terror" here... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AyAfEhZO974
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

That was uncomfortably realistic. I think I was at that dance.

The horrors of spider island, ya cant even bear to capitalize the title. A must watch for classic horror fans.

Going back even further, "The Evil Brain from Space". My son and I were doubled over laughing through that one.
More recently, any of you guys catch "Dale and Tucker vs. Evil"? It's worth seeing.

Also, "The Killer Shrews". Apparently, they made a sequel just last year with the same star.

Yeah, Bill. That one DOES look like it might be just a little better than "Wild Rebels", doesn't it!

"Tucker and Dale versus Evil" was one of my three favorite movies last year. If you enjoyed Tucker and Dale Versus Evil you need to see Hobo With A Shotgun and Troll Hunter I've seen the Horrors of Spider Island a few times. One of the worst looking low budget monster make up jobs ever. I really like The Killer Shrews , and own it.

Dwight - If you could remember that movie ("Wild Rebels") off the top of your head, apparently the lobotomy was a complete and utter failure...

So back to Mad Maxx, find the directors cut, and it has a extras disk that tells how the movie was made, and how Mel and the guy that played goose (Steve Bisley) were in a beach film. Its pretty cool stuff, and yes they tell that beer and drugs were offered to the bikers instead of money. Thats how they got all of them in that set for the Toe Cutters casket delivery. OH and notice Mel hooks up his friend "johnny the boy" as the jumper in Leathel Wepon. + A side note, watch the first Dirty Harry and then watch Leathel Wepon,, see how many things are similar. The writer of LW wanted a modern version of Dirty Harry.

If I remember right Mel got the part because he could ride a motorcycle not because he could act.

Not arguing that part, just clearifing which Goose we are talking about. But he and Mel also were school buddies,, as noted in the reunion clip. The chick that played Mels wife sure let herself go though,,cause she was hot in the movie,, time is a mother! buying the directors anniversery edition, the move is uncut and undubbed. its great that way.

I knew you were not arguing, I was just clearing up what I had said because I wasn't sure if it was goose or max and it was goose who got the part because he could ride.

Ok, now I'm getting confused. The goose could ride but Max couldn't ride the goose before he got the part with Max's wife?
