Yep, cool little things there alright, Stephen!

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Very cool, reminds me of the miniature steam engines friends had as a kid. The engines were made in either England or Germany if I remember correctly.

Too cool I had a steam engine and then when my kids were young my dad found one in a garage sale to entertain his grandkids.

It was by Warlock Erle,

"Have now found a new supplier for these style pipes..
The inlets are also straight to slide onto the Speedy / America down pipes..
Thought I'd post a short vid of me drying out the wrap when I'd finished..
Sounds cool, but not as loud as my previous exhausts..

If anyone is interested in purchasing a pair of these message or email me.."

Thats from Warlocks post

As a kid I had a little dry fuel fired stationary steam engine similar to the one below. We could get all kinds of things to run off the main engine, like bucksaws and potter wheels.

Here's a great website for steam engine stuff.

Keith that link is so cool, they evidently sell lots of different brands and give brief histories of them. I know I'm a cornball, but I was fascinated by these in the 1950s as a kid, I guess I still am.
