Hi everyone. I mostly lurk. Last week I picked up my 2012 America and love it more every day. I'd like to get everyone's opinion on the best windscreen. The Triumph brand is over $500 after the mounting kit. That seems pricey to me.

Alley Cat by Memphis shades, well engineered and minimalistic, but if you really want minimalistic, try a Dart Flyscreen, equally well engineered.

I had this for 7 years on my bike. Keeps the wind and bugs off, not real fancy but it worked well and was tough as nails.

I try to aggravate one person a day. Today may be your day.

I went with the Alley Cat. I'll let everyone know the results after I get it installed.

I'm almost 6' and I've got mine dropped down to almost touching the headlight and no buffeting. Good choice. Now get you some cleaner made for windshields.

Yep, cleaner and always go with a vertical, up and down stroke with your rag, and the optical deflection will be minimized. Learned that as a gas jockey at a small airport as a kid, when cleaning the windshields on Pipers and Cessnas.

Good choice. If you experience buffeting, don't despair... just add lowers.

Live to love, love to live.

The Alley Cat works great. I love it. It's small and doesn't really change the look of the bike too much. Pretty easy to install. Very satisfied that I made a great buy.

I'm not entirely sure about your America, but if you have the upper fork shrouds, you should be able to remove them and your options increase a lot. You can fit the same kit as we did on a 2012 Speedmaster.
