Have now found a new supplier for these style pipes..
The inlets are also straight to slide onto the Speedy / America down pipes..
Thought I'd post a short vid of me drying out the wrap when I'd finished..
Sounds cool, but not as loud as my previous exhausts..

If anyone is interested in purchasing a pair of these message or email me..

I don't know where the name "Cocktail shakers" came from, we called them Dragstacks in the 70's. I used to live in Manchester England til i was 25 then emigrated to the USA.Des

I live in Kansas City, we have always called those mufflers "cocktail shakers". I ran them on one of my Bonnies in the 1960s and still run them on my 76 Bonnie. Here we call "drag stacks" or "drag pipes" basically just running headers or TT pipes, no muffler. Truth is that prior to the web most of this nomenclature was parochial.

Nice bike in the vid, sounds good.

The name cocktail shakers comes from the shape of the muffler..
When stood on end they look like a bar stewards cocktail shaker..
A drag pipe I determine is a straight through pipe from the header to the tip.. (no mufflers) and usually the same diameter..
A drag stack is a set of drag pipes arranged in a stack (upturned) as usually seen on top fuel cars..
This is only my interpretation...

Warlock, we are in agreement. You are probably right on the "drag stacks", but when I hear the word "stack" I think of non-filtered fluted air intakes replacing the old Bonnie Amal pancake air filters at the track.

Those would be "velocity stacks".
