I used to live in Victoria, and my Mom still does so I get down there from time to time. Now I'm out in the Kootenays. You might want to consider riding out for the Kootenay (Nelson) RAT Raid next summer. There are plenty of folks from the Island that make the trip each year.

Of all the regulars around here, I think Gordie(known as "Celt") who lives in Surrey B.C., might be the closest to there.
Btw, as you know, Victoria is one beautiful town. My wife and I visited there about 10 years ago and had a great time.
