Can any of you guys that either make or know where to get some rear black lowering struts point me in the right direction please. I'm looking for 11" centered hole to hole black struts. Might go 10 1/2" also. Most of the ones on Ebay or that i've found online are 10" and i'm worried it might be too low on my America. Let me know please!

I think the 10" might be alright. I forget what the center center distance was on my chopped springs. For some reason I was thinking it was less than 10".
I'll try to remember to check.
For what its worth, I'd go with chopped springs on the hardest setting vs. struts. Thats what Ive had on my bike for 18k and theyre fine for me. Just a little bounce on the hard stuff without any tire bump.

I saw some hard rear bolt on struts made from two alike double box end wrenches, nut the posts, attach the wrench, washers and and nuts over the box ends and you have a set of chrome, drop forged struts. Of course upon close inspect. it will say Proto.

Some people can handle it with no problems, love it, and that's great.
But some people can't , then decide it's crazy stupid , and THAT'S just BULLSH1T!

Hmm, not sure if hardtailing the bike via the two small mountingpoints of the springs is the right way.
They were not dimensioned to take the stress from stright rigids - the amount of stress is supposed to be reduced via the springs.
Anway, I think it is your decision and it will also depend on which roads, how and how many miles you ride.

Dig the suicide shift. Is that connected directly to the gear shaft?
