Some crazy stuff there! Some of them I have to wonder what caused the accident. The cars seem to just go crazy with no cause. The woman crossing the road in the first vid that steps out in front of the ambulance causes it to skid sideways and she never even seems to flinch. It stopped with the side touching her and then she just keeps walking with barely a pause! Crazy!

Loved the parking gate that kept whacking the parked car. Not sure public transport is even a safe way to go.

I remember thinking Puerto Rico was the craziest place to ride a bike until I went to the Dominican Republic. Of course the 3,4, and 5 up riding style had something to do with it.

Holy smokes, do they have brains in Russia? Looked like most of the time nobody even tried to avoid an accident.

About 2 minutes in, I thought the guy did a nice job of safely pulling to the right of traffic while sliding on the roof of his car.

That's what I though, like they've never been taught to pull to the right. Also I couldn't tell in the streets had ice or were just wet.

These were great finds.

Uh huh, see?! THESE are the very reasons why for years the Commissars were the only ones allowed to have cars over there!!!

I have a theory about why this is happening in Russia. It's the music coming over the radio in their cars! Either that or they ran out of Twinkies before us and they're all a bunch of Zombies.

I'm thinking Russian scientist will discover a "Vodka Quotient".

There seems to be a lot cases of vehicles going recklessly faster than the rest, through intersections and stationary traffic. A few heavy trucks maybe lost their brakes.

Keith raises a good point, when behaviour becomes irrational, like the careening ambulance stopping inches from the nonplussed woman, the only credible answer may well be ZOMBIES

Bought a car on eBay once. It was from a dealer in Boston. So, I flew up to Logan International and this ominous Russian guy picks me up at the airport. I was pretty certain I was going to die on the drive to the dealership. I've NEVER been in a car with a driver behaving like this guy. It was like a psychopath on meth.

So, we drive to what had to be to worst part of the metro area. He pulls into this lot that is nothing but Ferraris, Maseratis, Mercedes, Lotus, you get the picture (I'd bought my daughter an old BMW really cheap). Truly, I've never seen an inventory like that and it was in a combat zone but there wasn't so much as a fence around the cars. So, we walk past the upstairs building and down a flight of stairs into this dungeon filled with a bunch of guys, all speaking very loud Russian, drinking, smoking.

Some guy had a bunch of car titles out on his desk and was looking at them with one of those big jeweler's lighted magnifiers. Every once and a while he'd touch one with a pen. He turned his head and made eye contact and it kinda freaked me out (now, I've piloted aircraft onto carrier decks at night so my 'freak out threshold' is fairly high).

So, naturally, I figured 'Russian Mob'. I'd brought a check with me but, to be honest, if they had said the price was actually $2000 more than we agreed upon, I'd have written him the check right there.

The deal was uneventful but when I saw a really cheap car I liked at a great price a while later I passed on it.

Now why am I gettin' the impression here that if you did a CARFAX scearch on the VIN# of your daughter's Bimmer, it COULD just come back with somethin' like:

"Whereabouts presently unknown"

???

For whatever reasons that thought MAY have gone through your head, FORGET about it!

THAT CAN'T HAPPEN IN UTOPIA!

I mean, sure, it's a nice enough city and all, and has loads of American history, but a "UTOPIA"???

The other Boston drivers were staring in horror at the guy I was riding with as they scrambled to get out of his way.

Actually, I was referring to a certain somebody's "State of mind" (Imaginary, possibly), not their location.

My sarcasm fell short, I guess.
