Hey anyone out there know the part # for the Thruxton Needles? I have # 3 Big Bore with Dinqua's and Matt's help. The bike definatly runs stronger than before. The only problem that I have encountered is a slight dead spot at mid throttle then it picks right back up again. I currently have the TBS Needles in her now but I guess I need to try a set of Thruxtons and see if that helps. Dinqua doesn't seem to think that it's the mains or Pilots so I will try this first. Any help with a part # out there would be greatly appreciated. I am half temped to just order up a set of Amals and see how that works, I know they sound great!!

Mikemm03, well to start with i live close to sea level, air injection removed modified airbox with stock filter (will be getting the replacment k&n filter soon) modified stock pipes 45 pilots 125 mains (need to go bigger 132 or 135 maybe) Thruxton needles with 1 shim 3.25 turns out on idle screws 18 tooth front sprocket pulls strong , Thruxton needles made a big difference through the mid range, I never had a flat spot in the mid range like some of the guys on here but the needles gave me a much better throttle response.

I ordered mine yesterday. That figures i could have hooked him up with some ****** good beer too! Dinqua and Matt L can attest to that . I am hoping this clears up my mid throttle hesitation. I am going to drill the slides while I am at it. If this works my bike should be running pretty strong! can't wait to get out and ride, but they are saying that winter is going to be around for another couple weeks yet. Ron

No way Tard! I thought they were TBS needles too, like you said. Sorry Ron...

Of course not, I trusted Matt Re-tard to tell me what it was. I even have a picture of it on the Amal section on my site, the picture with the Amal and Matt's needle side by side, didn't bother to look then either. Hey, it's Ron's fault! He brought the beer!
