Does anyone make lowering blocks for the BA/SM? I can't seem to find them via google. Is there a reason why that isn't an option for that extra inch? Could harley blocks be made to fit?

Maybe because it is more efficient to lower your BA/Spdy via shorter rear shocks and shorter fork springs?

I totally agree. It seems like all of the rear shock options on the market lower the rear about an inch. What if I decide to go lower? What are my options then? That's why I was asking about the blocks.

actually you can buy progressives that will go to 1.5 " i beleive, also you can buy nitro Hagens (pricey) and tell them the height you want and they will likley do it for you, i personlaly would not want to go below the 1.5 " thats pretty low unless you want to go to a rigid or something i guess. :-)

Heck much lower than an inch and you might as well burn a rod on your swingarm pivot! Seriously, get the 11.5 inch shocks and if you want to skip the fork spring kit, raise the tubes up an inch in the TT.

Disagree, i went to the progressive front springs and instead of using their "drop" on the springs i did as mentioned and raised the for tubes 3/4" to my 11.5 in the rear and it rides nice, the progressive front springs for the mere 80 bucks or so is a great mod for this bike. PLus you can change them out easy without even removing the forks etc.

I lowered 2" and there are some clearance issues but it can be done. I used 2" shorter Hagon shocks from Bella Corse. Had to trim the chain guard and change the tire size slightly with the new tire when I changed it later.
