Ooh yeah! In a heartbeat!!! I guess one could consider this sort of an updated version of this scene in the classic movie "It Happened One Night", huh! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wHfSb2xz2M(...btw, here's a warning to all you freakin' snotty-nosed kids around here: This YouTube video was filmed in, oh your "horror of horrors", black and white...so PLEASE be "forewarned"...I know JUST how much that turns you freakin' wet-behind-the-ears puppies off nowadays...just try your best to concentrate on the DIALOGUE and the comic aspects of this scene...THAT might help ya get through it!!!)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Yep John, THAT'S the problem with kids today: No appreciation for the Classics!!! Btw, speakin' of "classic films" here John, I've just noticed you share a name with one of the greatest actors of the classic era... (...so, do YOU think "the postman always rings twice", TOO???)

Reminds me of hitchhiking through MS and AL in the mid-70s. Some whacked-out babe was also hitching. As she walked by me, I could hear her muttering incoherently to herself. Not a bad-looking sort, and certainly had large enough assets to attract a ride from a distance. When she was about a third-mile down the road, a guy slowed down to pick me up, but seeing her, shrugged, then kept on going to where she was. She threw her small suitcase into the cab of his truck, and climbed in. It wasn't another couple hundred yards, when the door flies open, her bag goes flying out of the truck, as does she, as though he put a boot to her behind. He took off like a jack rabbit, and instead of walking backwards down the road, I stayed put, until some other fool saw her, picked her up, and drove off...

It's for the best.

Wait! Are we watchin' the same video here? Sorry fellas, but EITHER my standards have dropped precipitously since I've turned 60 years of age this year, OR you guys are just jokin' around here. 'Cause I think that girl is VERY hot lookin'. In fact, I think she looks A LOT like actress Jennifer Esposito here... ...who for some reason was just let go from the TV series "Blue Bloods". (...and I DOUBT it was because she was in any way "ugly" lookin')
