Went to the Ned Kelly run last weekend. (Aussie version of Jesse James) Ran into Island bum Benny and his good lady Chris so of course a few tinnies went down!! On sunday morning I shot over to their camp site to catch Benny in his flannelette pajamas, slippers and the red smoking jacket with the velvet lapels that he wears in the morning but was a tad too late as he had already slipped into his bike gears. First time I seen this I thought a English landed gent had somehow wandered into a motorcycle run in error.
Downed a couple of bottles of water as was pretty hot and headed off home. Got on freeway and suddenly regretted the water as really starting to need to urinate. Seen the Nudgee servo sign and thought you beaut!! Pulled up on forecourt and kicked out stand already starting to get the right leg over to head to the bathroom. Suddenly realized the whole weight of the loaded bike was coming down on my prosthetic left knee and in the interests of self preservation had to let her go. Iso hand grip took the main impact so only that and the end of the clutch lever. No indicator, mirror etc or even a scratch on rest and yep I did make the bathroom in time!!!! Anyone got a left hand side iso grip gathering dust?

Is that what you call not getting your leg over?

Had a few knock backs myself.

glad you cleared that up. At first thought, I thought let her go meant the yellow flow

They are there to ward off you wayward America riders.

Notice I left out the Speedmaster riders.
