This was posted on FB by a friend of mine in FL. thought I'd share it here....Enjoy

Brothers

Kickin' the shifter,
grabbin' the clutch,
at first glance,
...there aint much,
to riding a scooter,
like an old seasoned pro,
but under the surface,
that aint just so...

you see with your eyes,
but you feel with your heart,
to sense what hazard
might take you apart.
you know what bolt
has loosened and such,
how is it possible to
sense this much?

Because a biker,
doesn't ride because it's cool,
and while there are times, we all ride like fools,
it's more than the riding
that makes us this way
it's the heart of a tribe
that's mostly lost these days.

It's the way of the Brothers,
who care for their own,
both human and machine like in the old days,
when this way was known,
Too bad today,
mostly it's me, me, me,
for those who live in the cage society.

Verra Nice!

Makes me want to wax poetic. This is called "The Dead Yuasa Blues."

Turnin’ on the ignition key
Pullin’ out the choke
I know I need a Battery
But I’m freakin’ broke

Hit the starter button
Brrrrr, click, click, click
The Song of the Dead Yuasa
Is beginnin’ to make me sick

Take off my helmet
Take off my gloves
Jacket & Shades too
Cuz bump-startin’ this Mutha
Will take it’s toll on you

Click it into first gear
Push with all I’ve got
I’m not much for prayin’
But I give it my best shot

All I get is sputter, sputter
Cough, slide, & stop
A couple more repeats of this
I’ll be too pooped to pop

But there’s a ray of Hope
My Neighbor’s home next door
He can be a pain
Drink all my Beer
But He weighs two sixty-four

Now this is more like it
We’re rollin’ right along
I hit the seat
And dump the clutch
And the engine comes on Song

Now I’m tired but happy
I get the guy a beer or two
As I’m puttin’ on my stuff
I know what I’ve got to do

I’ve got to
Scrape me up some money
So I can cure my
Dead Yuasa Blues.
