A year ago today was Larry's last ride.... He lasted over a month in the hospital just to show them how tough and ornery he was.... God rest his soul and take care of his family.... he was a one of a kind motorsicklist!!!

It's so good of you to turn our thoughts to Larry, reminding me for one that life is precious and far too short. Thanks, Gordon.

Thanks Gordon for the reminder. 1 year already. Time flys and we forget. Already the thoughts of the Friar are starting to fade but for the posts reminding us of our friends, even if we never met them!!!!

Not round here they're not. Still think of him every day.
Best wishes to Larry's family and friends. They will have a tough time coming up, what with the anniversary of his passing.

When riding around midday, as the sun reflects off the tank console straight into me eyes, thoughts of Larry arise and how he complained about that same thing.

You can bet wherever Larry is he's riding the wheels off of it.

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Larry was such a cool guy. He could outride people half his age or less.

He knew that Caspian Blue was the best. He had the coveralls to match. Smart man, and riding those roads in Georgia will always have a different meaning for me.
