Misery loves company....
Ha! Woke up and finished the front caliper rebuild for Vera Lynn. Rode on charity ride. Rode home, bled brakes. Polished up some old girls. Polished some more. Lubed chains. Realized that Vera's ignitor was out when I was polishing her headers.

Yeah, tank off, tank on. Shop vacuumed the garage. Rearranged garage. Vacuumed some more. Tossed front spitfire out which was demounted yesterday. And now, I finally get to ride the old Dame.
P.S.: Her caliper pistons were so f'ed that air would not blow em out. Actually had to use hydraulics. Nothing like bleeding the brakes twice eh?

Speed bleeders work. You just have to let gravity get the flow going before attaching the brake line to the caliper. Strange how air will not let the line drain when it is not attached to anything. Air in the master cylinder that is. Once the drip starts, all is good as the flow soon commences. Would have been a bear without, in essence, bleeding the master cylinder. Read that as the speed bleeders would have been crap. Sienna is not a good colour for DOT4.
